Ammonites were ocean-dwelling mollusks that lived from the mid-Devonian (388 million years ago) through the Cretaceous (66 million years ago). Their closest living relatives are coleoids (octopus, squid, and cuttlefish). Ring weighs 4.62 grams. Marked and tested as solid 14K gold. The oval ammolite measures 10x8mm. Each beautiful round cut alexandrite measures 2mm in diameter.
